Abstract: Galician Episcopal funerary monuments of the Trastamara times are revisited here taking into consideration both the high spiritual and temporal power of their dignities, that call for specific strategies of representation; and the bishop's attitudes towards death, which can be known by analyzing their obsequies. Questions related to doubtful chronologies, style, typology and iconography will be at the core of this contribution.
