Abstract: This study is intended as an initial attempt to investigate systems of complex organizational variables in the context of a holistic, causally ordered model.The primary purpose of the study was twofold: First, to integrate findings of prior research in the fields of corporate strategy/business policy and organization theory, and second, to bring the methodology of causal modeling to bear on such research.
