Abstract: An improved fluorophotometer for the measurement of the fluorescence of fused sodium fluoride pellets that contain uranium is described.This instrument consists of a compact optical system that requires no critical adjustments, a highly stable power supply for the photomultiplier tube, and a stable amplifier, which permits the use of a rugged meter for indicating the photocurrent.The instrument has a wide sensitivity range©
