Comfort promoting nursing care in hospitalized children: scoping review protocol

Abstract: During hospitalization, the child-family dyad undergoes high levels of stress, anguish, fear and anxiety. Hospitalization converts into a moment of crisis, which means a vulnerable period for the child. Comfort promoting care in pediatrics emerges as a priority. This study aims to map the existing scientific evidence on comfort promoting nursing care, for hospitalized children. Research question: What are the nursing care that promotes comfort in hospitalized children?
