Abstract: The Mid-scale RI-1 (M1:IP): ReCENTER - Revitalizing Community EngagemeNT in STEM Education Research project will create a national, open access cyberinfrastructure to enable globally-relevant research, enhance broad access to research approaches and outcomes, and build a culture of collaboration across STEM education research. ReCENTER addresses needs identified in broad national reports as well as through focus groups conducted by the project team. ReCENTER is a single infrastructure serving multiple existing networks, individual organizations, and individuals. ReCENTER takes advantage of the connections already developed by our partners (e.g., STEMEd+ Commons, NNERRP, Campus Compact, MiSTEM) to create a "network of networks" to increase and transform capacity to engage in innovative STEM education research.
