Detection of UAS Conflicts in Air Traffic over Germany

Abstract: DFS is developing a cloud-based traffic management system for the safe integration of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the German airspace. The system continuously processes the air traffic situation based on several kinds of sensor systems. One of its core functions is real-time detection and alerting of tactical conflicts involving UAS. To this end, DFS and DLR are evaluating the integration of the DLR development "NDMap" into the system.
