Comparative Study of HR Policies in MNCs
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: The recruitment, selection, training, and development procedures of Indian and foreign multinational corporations are compared in this research study. This study examines the variations and convergences in the policies implemented by multinational corporations. Businesses adapt their HR procedures to the PEST environment and cultural norms of the nations in which they conduct business. Another significant factor in establishing precise standards for the HR regulations that are being adhered to is globalisation. Human resources are now considered as an asset instead of a liability. As now companies are focusing on retaining talents instead of searching for low cost employees with lesser qualifications. Good human resource management is now considered as one factor which adds competitive advantage to the company. All businesses are built on sound human resource strategy and practices.
