Abstract: There has been a significant rise in mental health issues among medical students globally. This increase is particularly concerning given the growing use of social media among this group, with most students spending multiple hours daily on various platforms. Excessive social media use can exacerbate mental health problems such as anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances, further impacting their overall well-being and academic performance.
