Abstract: The dataset in this file is used in the paper "Impacts of the Millennium Eruption and climate change on vegetation species composition of Changbaishan". The dataset contains: tree species, age and DBH of carbonized and present trees; treering chronology of carbonized and present trees of three forest sites; tree diameter at base of Betula ermanii in a large plot; NDVI of Changbaishan for four periods; AMS 14C age of the 11 carbonized samples found in the alpine tundra of Changbaishan. This file also provides the codes for drawing figures in the paper.
