Abstract: Summary. The phenomenon of climate change is an uncertain one, and its causes are diverse. The effects of rising temperatures are numerous both on nature and ecosystems, and on human health. Climate change directly affects human health, primarily through the effect of heat stress and its associated disorders. High temperatures have harmful effects on human health and directly affect the mortality rate.In order to suspend the acceleration of the phenomenon of climate change and stop the involvement of the anthropogenic factor in its development, it is necessary to inform the population, as accessible and as detailed as possible. The information must include all aspects of the given phenomenon: the causes of its provocation, the level of involvement of people in its development, the effects highlighted in figures and concrete statistical data, so that people can more easily remember the degree of seriousness of the danger of the consequences.Key words: climate change, human health, health education, target groups at risk.
