Evaluation of Rheological Parameters in Chronic Heart Failure Patients: a Review Article

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome that leads to reduced cardiac contractility or filling capacity of the heart. About 64 million people worldwide suffer from heart failure. The prevalence of heart failure varies with age. In developed countries, the incidence of age-related heart failure is declining due to better management of cardiovascular diseases, but morbidity and prognosis still appear to be undesirable. It is very important to identification of the etiological factors in the process of effective management and treatment. In this abstract, we have analyzed the expected changes in rheological parameters, specifically in phenotypes and functional classes, as predictors of the severity of the disease in patients with chronic heart failure.
