Abstract: This scientific article analyzes the internal competences of states within the framework of international law. The article discusses the competences of states in the areas of legislation, governance, and social policy, as well as the principles of international cooperation and the protection of human rights. The impact and balance of international law on the internal affairs of states are of significant importance, emphasizing the necessity to address global issues and protect human rights. As a result, the article contributes to a deeper understanding of the interrelations between international law and internal competences.
