Abstract: Sennius maculaticollis (Pic, 1930). New combination. Bruchus maculaticollis Pic, 1930a: p. 13. From label: “ Bahia / Brasilia / Fruhstorfer” [Brazil]. Syntype female deposited in the MNHN. This specimen bears a “ Holotype ” label. However, the original publication does not designate a holotype nor does it indicate the number of specimens examined. Because no lectotype has been published, this must be considered a syntype. Bruchus maculaticollis: Udayagiri & Wadhi (1989), p. 193 (catalog). Acanthoscelides maculaticollis: Romero-Nápoles et al. (2021), p. 213 (catalog, comb. nov.).
