Abstract: This study examines the gold investment patterns among middle-class families in Coimbatore, exploring demographiccharacteristics, investment motivations, and influencing factors. Using a mixed-methods approach combining surveys and semistructured interviews, this research investigates types and forms of gold investments preferred, financial literacy, and decisionmaking processes. The findings provide insights into gold investment trends, factors driving investment decisions, andrecommendations for financial institutions and policymakers.
