Thyene aperta (Peckham & Peckham, 1903): Wesołowska 2012b: 336, figs 40–44 (♂); Wesołowska & Russell-Smith 2022: 116, fig. 70A–D (♂). Thyene semiargentea Wesołowska & Russell-Smith 2000: 108, figs 300–306 (♂ ♀, misidentified). Material examined. MOZAMBIQUE: Tete: IV.1947, leg. C.F. Roewer, 1♂ (SMF 9922), 2♂ (SMF 9941), 1♂, 1♀, 2 subad ♂ (SMF 9942). Distribution. Species recorded previously from Ivory Coast, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, from Mozambique for the first time here.
