Abstract: Tamil society is a society that has lived, lives and will live as ‘Vinyae Aadavarkku Aayoey’. Starting from the Kurinji people who lived by hunting animals and sowing millet etc., they are a race that has acquired industrial leadership. The industrial leadership of the ancient Tamils has undergone changes in traditions over time and has undergone various changes due to the influence of the flow of time. The literatures of the respective period have recorded them. In this way, the purpose of this article is to try to understand the industrial leadership of the ancient Tamils on the basis of tradition - change.
