Abstract: This paper explores the role of AI to enhance the software development life-cycle particularly as it relates to ContinuousIntegration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).This paper explores how AI can be used to enhance the use of test automation, monitoring and alarms to ensure highlyreliable CI/CD pipelines and software development. It explores how AI can add value to ensure more reliable andproactive response to failed tests, performance issues, and critical failures in software systems. The paper dives intocurrent methodologies, best practices and challenges and how to implement AI-driven monitoring and testing. It alsodelves into future trends in automated testing and CI/CD.
