Abstract: This article examines the development of health-saving competence in senior preschool children, which is an important component of the educational process in preschool educational organizations. The concept of health-saving competence is revealed, the features of its development at the stage of preschool childhood are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the methods and techniques aimed at developing health-care skills in senior preschool children, a conscious attitude to physical activity and healthy nutrition.
