Abstract: The rise of BRICS and the movement towards de-dollarization represents a significant challenge to the current U.S.-led global order. Should South Korea and Japan be seen as aligning with BRICS or accepting de-dollarization, it would likely provoke a strong reaction from the United States. However, given the economic and geopolitical shifts already underway, South Korea and Japan may have little choice but to adapt to this new reality.
