Abstract: Presentation to the UK Carpentries monthly call, describing the author’s recent attendance at the BioNT CarpentryConnect Europe event in Heidelberg, Germany, 12-14 November 2024. The presentation described the event and its cohosts, then talked about the presenters with UK connections. It looked at the keynote presentations, discussions and highlights, then looks ahead to what is next for the community. It ends with a brief summary of the author’s main takeaways.
