Abstract: This study aimed to investigate and analyse the problem of youth unemployment in the Sudan and to explore the potential role of cooperatives in creating employment opportunities for youth, as well as its impact in the socio- economic benefits. Cooperatives has been identified as one of the tools which act as an incubator for small enterprises and provide credit collateral for its members.
