Leveraging AI-Powered Chatbots for Real-Time Test Monitoring and Reporting
Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered chatbots have gained substantial prominence in software testing environments due to their potential for automating real-time test monitoring and reporting. These chatbots are designed to manage various test phases, from setup and execution to error reporting and logging. This paper explores the evolution of AI-powered chatbots in real-time test monitoring and reporting, focusing on methodologies, system architectures, case studies, and their integration with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. We critically examine various chatbot frameworks and AI models employed for natural language processing (NLP), analyze real-world implementations, and provide insights into potential future developments. By leveraging AI chatbots, software engineering can enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in test processes. Furthermore, we explore how such systems can evolve to better align with real-time reporting needs, including automated bug reporting, test failure analysis, and status reporting.
