Abstract: This article makes a strong case for the importance of usingvideo materials in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) lessons. The focus here is onenhancing the speaking skills of B2 level students. ESP is a branch of languageteaching that tailors English learning to the specific needs of students based on theirprofessional or academic fields. The article confidently outlines how videos, as amultimedia tool, can be used effectively to improve communication skills,particularly speaking, in a professional context.
