This introductory chapter clarifies the connection between these two categories, demonstrating their combined impact on corporate success and employee happiness. Organizational psychology fundamentally aims to use psychological concepts to improve individual and organizational performance. It includes several subjects such as motivation, leadership, company culture, and employee engagement, all of which directly influence HR procedures. By using psychological insights, HR managers may execute tactics that foster a happy work environment while simultaneously improving employee productivity and well-being. The incorporation of organizational psychology with human resource practices fosters a comprehensive approach to workforce management. Comprehending motivation theories may assist HR in formulating reward programs that align with employee values and ambitions. Awareness of psychological factors such as Team Dynamics may improve recruiting techniques, fostering a staff that excels in collaborative synergy.
