Abstract: The Sewer Monitoring System is an IoT and machine learning-based solution designed to enhance urban sewer management. It monitors key parameters such as water levels, toxic gas concentrations, temperature, and manhole lid movements using sensors and microcontrollers like Arduino Uno. Real-time data is transmitted to the cloud for analysis, enabling predictive maintenance and early issue detection. The system alerts maintenance teams via dashboards, mobile notifications, and on-site indicators like buzzers and LEDs. By integrating AI-driven predictions and IoT connectivity, this project improves public safety, reduces maintenance costs, and supports smart city initiatives for sustainable sewer infrastructure management.
