Abstract: Calliopsis (Hypomacrotera) sonorana (Timberlake, 1969) [Holotype: UCRC; ♀ Oroz, Sonora, Mexico; September 17, 1957] This species inhabits the SD in the USA, and Mexico. We examined five specimens (3 ♂, 2 ♀) collected in the Gulf Coast, BCS in October 1941 (CASC). See fig. 27.
