Abstract: The article reveals the Uzbek intellectuals in Afghanistan from the second half of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st century, their place in Afghan society, and how immigrant Uzbeks in Afghanistan, despite all the difficulties, became intellectuals and scholars. We witness their becoming members of the Afghan Academy of Sciences, and even occupying important positions in prestigious educational institutions of the world thanks to their knowledge and work.
