Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This article analyzes the archetypal characteristics of mythological images in Eastern and Western literature. Mythological images are ancient symbols of human culture that have manifested in unique forms across different nations. In Eastern literature, mythological images reflect spiritual purification, the search for divine truth, and moral values, whereas in Western literature, they are more associated with individual struggle, social revolution, and defiance of fate. The article discusses the symbolic meanings of mythological images, the differences between cultures, and new interpretations in modern literature. The comparison of Eastern and Western mythologies opens a path for studying the evolution of human thought and intercultural similarities.
