Abstract: In the Sangam poems that describe the inner life, the habitats of the Agamants are generally mentioned in order to identify natural objects. They are placed on the basis of the primary objects according to the nature of the land they live in. The clan symbols that appear in this way are formed according to the land and its location. The purpose of this article is to analyze and explain them by classifying them under the headings of clan symbols related to small villages and towns, clan symbols related to residence, clan symbols related to living space, and clan symbols related to fear of work.
