Lived Space and Material Action: Aesthetic Interaction Paths Between China and Uzbekistan in a Planetary Perspective 活态空间与物质行动:星球视野下的中乌审美互通路径

Year: 2024
Type: article
Abstract: This article discusses the application of planetary theory to the exchange of culture between China and Uzbekistan. In terms of infrastructure, China and Uzbekistan need to strengthen modernization in the sense of “non-location”, especially in terms of transportation, in order to create a “living space” for exchange. In the area of literary translation, it is necessary to eliminate text-centrism, treat translation as an act of material and cultural exchange, and overcome the “untranslatability” argument advocated by planetary theory.
