Developing a Framework for Extracurricular Activities in Primary School

Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This article investigates the potential of extracurricular activities to enhance foreign language learning among primary school students. As global interconnectedness grows, acquiring a foreign language is not only a cognitive skill but also a critical tool for cross-cultural understanding. Traditional classroom instruction, while effective in teaching foundational language skills, often fails to provide the dynamic, immersive experiences necessary for young learners to internalize language naturally. Extracurricular activities, when strategically integrated into language education, offer opportunities for practical application, cultural immersion, and social interaction.
