Abstract: The purpose of the study is to reveal in theory and practice the essence and level of formation of mathematical ideas in primary school students based on a technological approach, to diagnose the formation of mathematical ideas in the content of the pedagogical test PIRLS and TIMSS tests, to reveal the content of logical tasks in the mathematics course material when applied to primary school students, and the specific features of the logical thinking activity of students, to use independent work in the mathematics course, problem situations requiring evidence, conclusions, analysis, problems, tasks, didactic games.
