Abstract: Perdita (Epimacrotera) polycarpae Timberlake, 1954 [Holotype: UCRC; ♂ North of Cathedral City, California, US; October 8, 1945] Perdita polycarpae is a specialist on pollen from plants in the genus Euphorbia L. Timberlake (1954). This species is widely distributed in the SD in Arizona and California, USA. In Mexico, it has only been collected in BCS (Timberlake 1954). We reviewed one specimen determined by Timberlake from Las Animas, Sierra Laguna in October 1941 (CASC), and added coordinates to this location, however, we acknowledge that the location may have a significant margin of error due to the lack of precise geographic references. See fig. 38.
