Leveraging Quantum Dot-Based Sensors for Real-Time, High-Sensitivity Detection of Airborne Pathogens in Public and High-Risk Environments

Year: 2024
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Quantum dot-based sensors offer a cutting-edge solution for real-time, high-sensitivity detection of airborne pathogens, critical for public health and safety in high-risk environments. This study evaluates the performance of quantum dot sensors in detecting pathogenic aerosols, focusing on sensitivity, response time, and portability. Results highlight their potential to transform pathogen detection and monitoring in diverse settings.
