Effect of process parameters on microstructure and shape memory properties of Fe-17Mn-5Si-4Ni-1VN alloys fabricated by L-DED

Abstract: In this study, Fe-17Mn-5Si-10Cr-4Ni-1VN alloys were fabricated by L-DED. The alloys were fabricated under a constant volumetric energy density with various process parameters, while systematically varying laser power and scan speed. The influence of the process parameters on microstructure, mechanical properties, and SME was comprehensively evaluated.
