Type: article
Abstract: The issue of improving the efficiency of power equipment in autonomous and mobile power supply systems is always in the spotlight. One of the modern methods of reducing the mass of a transformer is the use of high-temperature superconductors (HTS). The purpose of the study is to analyze the available methods for reducing the weight and size characteristics of power transformers, as well as to study the magnetic circuit when operating at an increased frequency of electric current. A hysteresis loop of an amorphous iron magnetic core has been experimentally obtained, the characteristics of which allow it to be used at an increased frequency with a high magnetic induction value at low loss rates for magnetization reversal. An analysis of the transformer in the synthesis of HTS windings and an increase in the frequency of electric current with an amorphous iron core is given. The study made it possible to analyze in more detail the energy losses in the transformer elements associated with losses in the magnetic circuit, namely hysteresis and eddy currents. High-temperature superconductors that allow operation at a high current density, which can reach up to 500 A/mm2, which reduces the mass and volume of the material used as a secondary winding. Increasing the frequency of the supply network provides a number of advantages and disadvantages.
