List of Energy Audits & Projects

Abstract: Over the past fifteen years, I have led comprehensive ASHRAE Level III audits and energy‐efficiency projects across more than 50 landmark facilities—from Marriott Hotels in Pasay and Uptown Mall BGC to major manufacturing sites like ST Microelectronics and First Sumiden Circuits. These engagements, focused predominantly on water‐cooled chiller systems (and in select cases on boiler, compressed‐air, and power systems), have consistently delivered 20–40 % reductions in baseline energy use, translating into over ₱200 million (≈ USD 3.6 million) in annual cost savings and more than 8,500 tCO₂e avoided each year.Key impacts include:Marriott Hotel (3 sites): Achieved PHP 18 million in annual savings by optimizing chiller sequencing and controls.Uptown Mall BGC: Realized PHP 12 million in yearly cost avoidance through targeted recommissioning of four 1,000 RT chillers.First Sumiden Circuits Inc.: Delivered PHP 5 million in savings and improved process reliability by integrating chiller system controls.II-VI Performance Metals Inc.: Redesigned agitation system (cost savings of PHP 15M), Conversion of Boiler Fuel from Diesel Fuel to LPG with high efficiency boiler (cost savings from PHP 2M to PHP 6M), Proposed changing Retail Electricity Supplier (cost savings of PHP 5.94M) and to include energy savings device for power system (cost savings of PHP 6M), driving a total of PHP 26 to 32 million in measured and potential energy & cost savings post‐implementation.By coupling rigorous site audits with ISO 50001 roadmaps, IoT‐enabled monitoring, and AI‐driven analytics, these projects have not only optimized equipment performance and uptime but also strengthened each client’s sustainability profile—laying the groundwork for future, deeper‐dive optimizations and carbon‐reduction strategies
