Abstract: In this workshop, Mohamad Mostafa, presented the principles of Open Science and the importance of building open, trusted research infrastructure. The discussion covered how persistent identifiers (PIDs)—for researchers, institutions, and research outputs—play a key role in enhancing visibility, credibility, and global discoverability. The session also highlighted how Arab researchers can leverage these tools to support their work and increase the impact of their contributions. This community awareness workshop was hosted by the Arab Science Community Organization (ARSCO).
