Abstract: This article provides a detailed analysis of the sorption properties of polymer-metal complexes and clay minerals. Polymer-metal complexes are widely used in various industrial fields, including as efficient catalysts, in wastewater treatment for removing harmful substances, and in sensor development. Clay minerals like vermiculite and montmorillonite exhibit high sorption capacity, especially valuable in ion-exchange processes. The study investigates the interaction of ion-exchange materials with various salt solutions and their chemical stability. Furthermore, the models, conditions, and sorption properties of the sorption processes are expressed through mathematical formulas.
