Evaluation of Minimally Invasive Versus Conventional Surgical Techniques in the Management of Symptomatic Uterine Fibroids: a Multicenter Clinical Trial

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Uterine fibroids (leiomyomas) are the most common benign pelvic tumors in women, with a prevalence of up to 70% by the age of 50. Although often asymptomatic, fibroids can cause significant morbidity in the form of menorrhagia, pelvic pain, pressure symptoms, and reproductive dysfunction. Symptomatic fibroids represent a major cause of gynecologic surgical interventions globally.
