Atypical Morphogenesis of Phytoindicators in the Environmental Monitoring of Donetsk

Abstract: The paper presents and numerically analyzes examples of the occurrence (registration) of terate forms in plant species exhibiting indicator structural plasticity depending on the level of anthropogenic impact on natural systems. Screening was carried out in 2023 and 2024. – during periods of significant transformation of the roadside ecotopes of Donetsk, which was the possibility of frequent registration of indicator species, as well as a high level of structural polymorphism, exceeding the expected norm in its ranges of values. Information is provided on the structure of flowers, inflorescences and features of architectonics in the general habitus for species of the weed-ruderal fraction of flora naturalized in Donbass: Verbascum lychnitis L. and Erigeron canadensis L. Indicator-significant indicators of teratomorphism are numerically confirmed repetitions exceeding the threshold of 5% of the total cenopopulation pool of diagnostic signs. The noted changes are described by visual models, formulas and diagrams of flowers.
