Abstract: Aphalara exilis (Weber & Mohr, 1804) Distribution General distribution. Western Palaearctic (Burckhardt and Lauterer 1997 a). Distribution in Bulgaria (Fig. 5). Published records: PVS, RRW (Joakimov 1909, Klimaszewski 1965, Głowacka and Harizanov 1983). Material examined: PVL, RPM. Notes The species is quite rare in Bulgaria and only a few specimens have been collected recently. It is very likely that the previously published records from Bulgaria refer in fact to A. nigrimaculosa (Pramatarova et al. 2023). Diagnosis Adult and fifth-instar immature. Ossiannilsson (1992), Burckhardt and Lauterer (1997 a).
