Abstract: This article examines the various sources and mechanisms of phosphate waste generation in various industries. It analyzes the processes of formation, chemical composition and properties of phosphate waste, as well as the impact on the environment. In order to reduce the negative impact on the environment, special attention is paid to the problems of effective management and processing of phosphate waste. The article also examines the importance of using phosphate waste as a raw material for the production of fertilizers and chemicals, as well as the possibilities and prospects for using it in a circular economy approach.
