Name-bearing type: holotype (CMNC) (originally in FGIC; Canhedo 2006), not examined. Anomiopus hirsutus – Canhedo 2004a: 189 (key; nomen nudum). — Krajcik 2012: 28 (list). — Hielkema & Hielkema 2019: 59 (catalogue for the Guianas). Distribution Venezuela (endemic) (Canhedo 2006). Subregions of Venezuela System of hills and low piedmont mountains of the Guiana Shield, and Guiana Shield.
