How to replicate fusion

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper presents a groundbreaking hypothesis proposing a synergistic mechanism between magnetic compression and electric-magnetic forces to enable hydrogen fusion at significantly lower temperatures and pressures than traditionally required. The study challenges conventional thermonuclear fusion methods by suggesting that strong magnetic fields can not only confine plasma but also actively compress hydrogen nuclei, facilitating fusion through quantum tunneling at reduced energy thresholds. This innovative approach aligns with emerging concepts in Magnetized Target Fusion (MTF) and offers a fresh perspective on how magnetic and electric forces could interact to optimize fusion conditions. Potential experimental pathways are discussed, with an emphasis on manipulating magnetic field intensity and orientation to test the hypothesis. If experimentally validated, this could open new avenues for efficient and scalable fusion energy production .
