Abstract: The article analyzes the importance of implementing international accounting standards inthe economy of Uzbekistan. International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) provide transparentand comparable presentation of financial information between countries. The entry of the CIS intothe economy of Uzbekistan analyzed the country's integration into the world economy and showedthe growth of demand for international trade and investment. The article also discusses the reformscarried out in the accounting system of Uzbekistan, problems and upcoming tasks.
