Abstract: 153. Hypothenemus solitarius (Schedl, 1950a) Stephanoderes solitarius Schedl, 1950a Hosts: Albizia gummifera, Gaudua sp. (= Bambusa), Coffea sp., Pancovia harmsiana, Pterocarpus tinctorius, Synsepalum subcordatum, Theobroma cacao Notes: This species is listed as being present in South Africa by Wood & Bright (1992). However, we have been unable to locate the original publication record of the species in the country. Additional work will be required to determine if the species is truly present in the country.
