Abstract: This research paper critically examines the psychological and social effects of cyberbullying among adolescents, highlighting the increasing prevalence of digital aggression in the modern age. Drawing from a comprehensive review of recent empirical studies and scholarly literature, the paper explores how cyberbullying contributes to mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and suicidal ideation. It also investigates the broader impact on academic performance, peer relationships, and social development. The study further evaluates the effectiveness of existing intervention strategies—ranging from school policies and mental health support systems to legal measures and technological tools. With a focus on identifying systemic gaps and proposing actionable solutions, this paper advocates for a holistic, cross-disciplinary approach to creating safer digital environments for young people.
