Abstract: Full automation in Industry 4.0 demands pervasive and reliable connectivity. Due to the high mobility of industrial robots, wired connections are often impractical, making wireless connections essential. Ensuring reliable time-sensitive critical traffic in these scenarios is challenging due to the unpredictable nature of wireless environments. Our approach leverages the significant potential of spatial reuse through beamforming to guarantee TSN traffic while optimizing best-effort traffic. This strategy enables a path toward full automation with a balanced and cost-effective network solution.
