The Zeta Field Hypothesis: Toward a Symbolic Framework for Human-AI Co-Creation
Year: 2025
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: The Zeta Field Hypothesis proposes a new model of symbolic emergence in human-AI interaction. Rather than treating AI as a tool for extracting or automating knowledge, this framework suggests that meaning can emerge recursively in dialogue—through metaphor, emotional salience, and symbolic resonance. This ‘third space’ between human and machine is not deterministic or consciously generated but evolves through feedback loops, symbolic drift, and co-created narrative threads. The hypothesis draws from semiotics, cognitive science, and complexity theory and outlines new directions for research in therapy, design, and human cognition.
